DESCRIPTION:Darren Gough\, one of the greatest England and Yorkshire fast bowlers of all time\, will be appearing in the West Midlands where he will entertain guests with fascinating and hilarious stories from his career that saw him take 229 wickets in Test cricket. \nGough was one of England’s key players from his debut in 1994 through to his retirement in 2003. Yorkshireman Gough\, who was the first winner of the hit BBC reality television show Strictly Come Dancing\, has stepped in after the original guest Graeme Swann was forced to withdraw for work commitments. \nThe event\, to be MC’d by renowned cricket author Richard Sydenham\, will be held in Halesowen Cricket Club’s beer tent that will be situated on the outfield of this prominent Birmingham League cricket club.

DESCRIPTION:Dennis Amiss played for Warwickshire County Cricket Club from 1960 to 1987\, and later served in a variety of administrational roles but notably as chief executive during its glory years in the mid-1990s. This year marks the 60th anniversary since he made his Test debut for England against the West Indies and Big Star Creations is of the opinion that here is a local legend who deserves to be fully honoured by Warwickshire\, England and even cricket fans in general. We will be joined by some special guests on the night who played with and/or against Dennis throughout his career. There will be a two-course meal to accompany lots of cricketing chat and amusing memories from Dennis’s life in cricket. DESCRIPTION:It is 50 years since Aston Villa began their journey in European competitive football when they faced Royal Antwerp in the UEFA Cup in the 1975-76 season. As we all know\, Unai Emery’s side celebrated this anniversary by winning the same competition (now the Europa Cup) half a century on. Big Star Creations is marking these achievements by putting on a huge Villa dinner party and have invited along some of club legends from throughout the ages. Those to confirm their attendance so far for this event at the beautiful venue of Hockley House in Warwickshire\, near Solihull\, include: ALLAN EVANS\, LEIGHTON PHILLIPS\, BRIAN LITTLE\, TONY DALEY\, ALAN WRIGHT and KENNY SWAIN\, with more yet to follow.
