West Indies cricket greats Sir Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh, two giants of the sport, two of the best fast bowlers there has ever been, arguably the greatest new-ball partnership, will appear at an informal dinner in the West Midlands where members of the audience will be able to meet the two legends, hear their anecdotes and stories in a live Q&A from two incredible careers, enjoy a two-course meal and have the opportunity to buy signed memorabilia at the special live auction. This is a rare opportunity to meet these two greats together and hear about their experiences playing for the world-conquering West Indies in the 1980s and 1990s. They played with some of the champions of the sport such as Viv Richards, Gordon Greenidge, Brian Lara, Malcolm Marshall and Michael Holding. They played against people like Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne, Steve Waugh and Wasim Akram. Don’t miss out, see you there! Cricket author Richard Sydenham, who ghost-wrote Curtly’s autobiography, will host the evening and Q&A.
Venue Address: Hockley House Pub & Restaurant, Stratford Road, Hockley Heath, Solihull, B94 5NW
