Andy Gray and Peter Reid will appear at the beautiful Warwickshire venue of Hockley House to reflect on two great careers in football. They were teammates with Everton in the mid-1980s and famously won the FA Cup, League Championship and European Cup winners’ Cup together. Both go down as two of the all-time greats in Everton’s long history. Gray had previously been a fans’ favourite with Aston Villa, where he won a League Cup and the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards in 1977. He then joined Wolves for whom he scored the winning goal in the League Cup final in 1980. Gray played at his beloved Rangers later in his career. Reid had been a Bolton Wanderers legend prior to signing for Everton, eventually going on to play for Manchester City while also winning 13 caps for England. After his playing career, Reid was a successful manager with Sunderland. Gray, meantime, has been one of the most influential voices in the football media since his retirement, notably as a Sky Sports pundit.
