Big Star Creations has brought together arguably the greatest defence that West Bromwich Albion has ever had, as left-back Derek Statham, right-back Brendon Batson and centre-halves Ally Robertson and John Wile will appear for a questions and answers evening for supporters at the charming Handsworth Golf Club.

Guests will be able to meet the Baggies legends, enjoy a two-course meal, listen to a live and unscripted Q&A and participate in a live auction.

It is very rare that all four of these players get back together, so this will be a special occasion, uniting the quartet who were some of then manager Ron Atkinson’s greatest players in his side in the late 1970s and early 80s. Wile racked up 615 club appearances, Robertson appeared in 622 Baggies games, with Statham clocking up 373 and Batson 218. Another Baggies hero, the late Tony Godden, often stood behind them in this era.
